LOGAN LAUBACH
President
Growing up in San Diego, California, Logan has been rock climbing since 2016 with a love for the outdoors and all sports from surfing to mountain biking. He has been encouraging his fellow medical student peers to try out climbing and helped found this club to support healthy outlets from the stresses of life as a medical student. There is no better way to destress than rock climbing!

MIHAI BENTAN
Vice President
Originally from a small town in Romania, Mihai grew up outside of Denver, Colorado where he had the opportunity to try his hand at rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. To help formally establish rock climbing here at MCV, Mihai helped create MCVCC to encourage and guide climbers of all skillsets to daring new heights.

GRACIA LUOMA-OVERSTREET
Treasurer
Before coming to MCV, Gracia had been climbing only twice in her adult life. However, after reluctantly agreeing to go during orientation week, she had so much fun that climbing became one of her regular activities to clear her mind. Gracia joined the team to create MCVCC to encourage others to try their hand at climbing and to provide a way for medical students to unwind after long hours of studying.

GALEN GOLDSCHEITTER
Outdoor Liason
Galen learned to ski in Chamonix at 3 years old and has been obsessed with the mountains ever since. After a short professional snowboard career, Galen started spending more time climbing, running, and mountain biking. He spent the last 3 years living in the Pacific Northwest rock climbing and mountaineering in the Cascades. He is currently focusing on pushing his limits in traditional and sport climbing while balancing his medical and graduate school responsibilities.
